Centrex Construction was awarded a contract by Columbia Helicopters Inc., to construct a new state of the art "Turbine Engine Test Cell" on our property located next to Aurora State Airport on Arndt Road.

The grace of God initially connected me with Jim Severson as I was exploring possibly buying some land and building my company headquarters. That good fortune ulitmately lead us into a project that stretched over almost two years from initial idea thru planning, architectural work, and finally construction. Throughout all aspects of our project, Centrex performed with integrity and efficiency to supply me with a superb custom building. I am so pleased with Centrex Construction. I employed Centrex to build a 3000sf veterinary hospital in 2011, in which I now work in every day. The project entailed removing most of an existing structure, adding on new square footage, and making it all look new. The construction project was a complete success. The building is high quality, solid, beautiful, and built to specifications that my architect wanted.
Very importantly to me is that working with the people at Centrex was always pleasant and professional. I was able to go about my business as a veterinarian while they managed all of the subcontractors, city inspectors, and banks. Never once did I have to speak to work out any problems or issues with the city, subs, or any other person. Furthermore, I was always able to speak to my project manager without delay, and the project manager was almost always on site actually managing the project!
Centrex's project bid was strongly competetive to others that I recieved. The change orders that I requested were also reasonable and fair. Centrex was able to work with me to find cost savings in the project when I needed to value engineer some parts.
